  5. Well we don't sell digital scans, But you can donate some funds to this website and I use those funds for the purchase of said issues. I can scan them and send you links to the downloads. Or you are more then welcome to browse Ebay and find auctions containing those issues, and have the seller ship the magazines to me for archiving.

    Why .cbr?

I have no problem with anyone creating a .pdf release from one of the .cbr releases. I know its kinda easy to just import images into Adobe, but the one thing I did like about .pdf's is that you could hotlink the table of contents to the corresponding page number. Also since .cbr format almost always comes out first, all you need to do is change maybe 3 lines of the .nfo release file. Filesize File Format Release Date -Phillyman
  7. WTF? Is this suppose to be for rich people that can wipe their ass's with $100 bills? http://dvice.com/archives/2007/12/gold_pill_makes.php/

    Why .cbr?

I don't think its a decision of one over another, Most people asked for .cbr releases.....If we had more people that could help out we would do dual format releases. I even expressed this fact in the "Positions Available" thread http://www.retromags.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=2234
  9. Ok I am done buying for now, The last 10 auctions I have won should keep me busy for a little while
  10. He actually has an account over here He has been so gracious as to grant us permission to use any missing covers on our Wiki, as a small token of my appreciation I have told him he can use ours (even though he probably has 100X as many as we do)

  15. Ah what ashame, Well dont let go of that Nintendo Power Flash. Keep your eyes peeled for a scanner at school or a friends house and let us know if you get it digitalized -Phillyman
  16. No scanner at work? A friend with a scanner? If not its ashame, I almost want to tell you to buy a scanner and then return it within the 14 day policy (but that wouldn't be nice of me ...lol) I thought with all the multifunction printers out there, that almost everyone would have a scanner.
  17. Free Cookie to whoever guesses where this guy is from
  18. I dont know how many Nintendo Power Flashes there are, But I have scanned 3 of them. Let me know if you get yours scanned and I will let you know how to upload it to RM. Since that magazine is pre 1992 it would qualify you for 4 months of Premium Membership on this forum (which gives you the ability to download 5 gigs of magazines per month) -Phillyman
  19. Yes Very good deal, I have so far scanned 3 Nintendo Power Flash magazines. I have do not have the one in your possession though. Nintendo Power Flash is basically the equivelent of Nintendo Fun Club but for Canada So think of it this way Nintendo Fun Club (USA) / Nintendo Power Flash (CAN) Nintendo Power I think once Nintendo Power came out they just copied the same magazine for the USA and Canada, But the Nintendo Fun Club and Nintendo Power Flashes were totally different. Hopefully you have access to a scanner and can get upload a copy of that NPF to Retromags Welcome To Retromags, Enjoy your stay! -Phillyman

  22. If anyone has experience with joining posters, I could use whatever help you can provide. Each joined poster that I receive means that I can get the Nintendo Power magazines uploaded to the IDM software. If anyone has experience with joining posters and has some recommendations for people that would be great also. Anyways This is the section on the IDM software for people to upload the joined posters to http://www.retromags.com/forums/index.php?...&showcat=18 Thanks Phillyman
