Yup I jumped off of Seeding last night because My computer was getting overloaded Uploading The 5 Mags to Newsgroups Seeding the 5 Mags on Torrents Plus Sending a Unedited Issue to a Editor Doing all 3 of those things at the same time .......it was gonna take 12 hours to upload to newsgroups ....so i jumped off Torrent for a while ....back on and now everyone is pulling down from me again I wish i knew where my 2 guys that are suppose to be distributing these scans got off to ??? SAV2880 and SnakeStorm ......Where are you guys

I got about 12 PSM magazines for editing ......and i am continuing full force scanning them .......If you could do some simple edits i would thank ya greatly Also finish up that great post on how to do the edits yourself ....So that Noseface can help us Edit the scans too He wants more releases

Noseface Im gonna try to show you where we are comming from The money you donated went to magazines ....not to my dinner or videogame purchases ........So please dont act like i am profiting off anything here I can scan roughly about 3 magazines a day ......if i really needed to .....but as it stands i dont have anyone to do the edits on the releases.... Mr.Slayer and 420 have both indicated to me that they are busy and cannot do them So if your offering to do the edits ....I have 5 magazines ready to be edited .....Step up and help out or quit bitching And Referencing Mame ......Thats a team of how many people ......Last i counted we barely have 5 good people that contribute time....So yes the releases are gonna be slim each week

Absolutly Noseface i am not sure what you want from this site ......you donated money for the aquirement of magazines to be scanned .....that is whats going on ......once they are edited they will be released

I believe the money you donated Noseface went to the purchase of 60+ PSM magazines .....which are currently being scanned right now ......As soon as they are edited they will be released .....So The money you donated did get put to use .....would you rather i just release the magazines out at 200mb in size and not cropped or straightened ? If i released them in there current state .....you would just be downloading twice .......once for the unedited version ......and again for the edited version .......all this work takes time ......I scan about 2 magazines per day .....quite more then anyone else puts forward in a month :(

Ok so for some odd reason i had a nightmare last night .......well actually this morning .......was it a big scary monster .......or a deranged killer after me ........No i had a nightmare that i was back in highschool and 2 months away from graduating ......and i was failing and would have to repeat my senior year Remind you i have been outta highschool for like 8 years ......I have no clue why i dreamed i was 27 and still in HS

Alienware is nice for there Laptops .....but Dell is horrible for replacing parts .....I fix computers every day ....and most Dell customers end up leaving with there computer and a phone number for Dell :(

We arent sitting on the releases.......scanning isnt too much of a problem .....but the editing of those scans is whats taking a long time ......I can now scan at the very least 1-2 mags a day.......but i dont want to release them until they have been edited properly Compared to your analogy .....it would be like dumping the games but not writing an emulator to play them correctly

Had a few people ask me about newsgroups and how they work..... well newsgroups are kinda like this forum at Retromags ......Users can post messages and other Users can reply to those messages....Newsgroups can fall into 2 catagories .....Text and Binary Text Newsgroups are usually for discussions.......Binary newsgroups are for posting files....You can still talk on Binary Newsgroups but as you will learn it gets pretty messy with all the files getting posted....Binary Newsgroups carry everything from books , music, programs, movies, games....you name it So basically what do you need to get started with Newsgroups 1 . An Subscription to a Newsgroup server.....most ISP's give you access but restrict your downloads to 1-2 gigs per month....So your gonna need a Premium Newsgroup Service.....Expect $15-$40 a month .....but its soooooooo worth it ....i have www.newshosting.com $15 for UNLIMITED DOWNLOADS ! 2. A Newsgroup Reader......I like Newsbin Pro.....it is only $30 and has FREE LIFETIME UPGRADES....you pay once and never have to pay again....this rules and the program is awesome www.newsbinpro.com 3. WinRar and WinAce .......your gonna need Archive readers ....most posts on Newsgroups are Rar'd files 4. Par Program.......Whats a Par Program ?? Well basically when a file gets posted to Newsgroups ....sometimes errors can sneak into the post .....A Par Program basically checks the CRC of each file and corrects any mistakes that may have crept into the post....Also Sometimes Not all pieces of the post will propogate thru the servers....PAR files allow you to rebuild parts of the post that you may be missing....SmartPar and QuickPar are both Free Programs and work wonders.....you shouldnt need to use them that much either...Premium Newsgroup Servers usually have a good retention 5. a NFO reader.....most of you should already have one but if not ....search Google for DAMN NFO ....its free ......if not you can read NFO files with Notepad So why should you use Binary Newsgroups ......well first there are OVER 100,000+ groups to look thru Anything you could ever want to find can be found on Newsgroups......and while the media is concentrated on P2P and Torrents ......us Newsgroupers slide past there radar Any Questions about Newsgroups Feel Free to ask ....
