  1. I see that now on Wikipedia. Good to revive the series at least! I wonder if it's going to have the retro feel that some games now coming out have.
  2. Kid Icarus could also use a sequel. The series died out.
  3. Also, New Super Mario Bros., Sonic Colors, Sonic 4, and Metroid M seem to have those retro feelings. I started playing video games in 1990 with Legend of Zelda. Grew up on SNES, Genesis, Game Boy, and Game Gear. Heck, even after I got the N64 when it came out, I still mostly played the SNES/Genesis. Of all the systems out right now, only Wii really appeals to me since I can play my old games and those few games I mentioned first.
  4. It died chiefly due to oversaturation I had thought...
  5. I never saw the second one, I saw the first in theaters, but I was a kid. I rewatched it again not too long ago actually and could barely get through it, that's how bad it was.
  6. Absolutely agree! I don't mind Red Faction II for multiplayer, but the original was by far better. Couldn't agree more. It wasn't even a good game compared to the first one (well, the first Playstation one).
  7. For me that was Donkey Kong Country 2 and 3. Didn't care for them like I did the first. I don't know if it counts, but I played FF:Mystic Quest *after* FFII (SNES). And despite the rave attention they got, I never cared for most of the N64 sequels to the SNES ones, including (and I know I'll get stoned for this) the 64 Zelda games and Mega Man.
  8. I saw that earlier. Looks good, but I can tell it's going to have a number of throwbacks to the game. It could be fantastic, or it could bomb. Hopefully the former.
  9. Do you even look up anything before you start typing words? Since it seems you're just trolling rather than wanting to have an actual conversation, I'm going to ignore you from now on. Have a nice life.
  10. To make my point even further, some nations themselves don't consider copyright a universal right: "Sharing copied music is legal in some countries, such as Canada and The Netherlands (downloading only),[54][55] provided that the songs are not sold." Again from the Wikipedia article. Please do read more and educate yourself. It's not about Nintendo at all. Copyright is not exclusive to Nintendo.
  11. "If Nintendo creates something, they have a right to that thing." That's your opinion, but not everyone shares it with you. "Stealing games you don't own is illegal. No matter how hard you want to try to justify your theft, it's still theft." False. "Courts have distinguished between copyright infringement and theft, holding, for instance, in the United States Supreme Court case Dowling v. United States (1985) that bootleg phonorecords did not (for the purpose of the case) constitute stolen property..." Look up the Wikipedia article on copyright infringement. Theft is the removal of something belonging to another. What was removed in copyright infringement? You say sales, but sales do not *belong* to Nintendo, they have no right to make money as they see fit. You really ought to look up actual laws and legal cases on this issue, because you're doing a poor job at representing the real issue with copyright infringement (hint: it's not theft, and it's not about sales).
  12. Final Fantasy IV (II in the US) ought to have been the first Final Fantasy made into a movie (and not whatever that crap was that was made several years ago called "Final Fantasy", the sci fi film).
  13. I disagree that Nintendo has a right to copyright intellectual property. And hurting revenue is entirely immaterial to the case. Sony hurt Nintendo's revenue by making the Playstation, are you going to accuse Sony of stealing from Nintendo? The success of the Playstation and the 64 forced Sega to quit making consoles. Did Sony and Nintendo steal from you then? Your logic is very flawed here.
  14. Genesis?!?! The Sonic games alone were worth buying it, not to mention their ports weren't always bad (e.g. I preferred the Genesis Jurassic Park to the SNES one).
  15. I'm very, very tempted to get a Wii just for the new retro-like games coming out for it. Hopefully soon I'll be able to afford it.
