  1. IMO it's just jumping on the bandwagon, and adding extra features to "control your house" and "no it's not like the Wii", but this was in another article and it's intended for the 360. So Microsoft... you FAIL!
  2. I bought it :( Because on the box and the adds it looked like Dragon Warrior. So far from the truth though.
  3. I don't know what name was more annoying... Lee Trevino or Arnold Palmer.
  4. I actually sent an email to Nintendo saying it was a silly name, and that I didn't like it at all. They replied nicely that it was a good name because it was like saying "WE" as all of us play or something. And that they were sad I didn't like it.
  5. Found this, if software counts as copyright like books this would apply. If the site is trustworthy.... Source: http://www.knowledgerush.com/kr/encyclopedia/Public_domain/ IMO it's way too much time, even more so for software. Why? Because the software business moves too fast. Let's say Pac Man. Anyone should be able to play pacman for free. But no be able to develop a new pacman game. Same with Mario and Windows. Everyone should be able to install win95 for free but no modify or rerelease a new version. That's just my idea though. I'm against someone living their lives from a cartoon they made on a napkin while smoking weed.
  6. I don't have the face, hair or muscles to remotely play Duke.
  7. It's a fan made thing. What a great way to ruin it for the fans. It shouldn't be illegal if they are not making money from it. What's next, square enix lawsuit agains fans who make cloud fan art? Even if the game sucks, who cares, it's fan, let them have their fun.
  8. What's the time limit for software before it becomes public domain?
  9. No it wasn't. It was from the point of view of the people that made Sega fail.
  10. So who owns the games now. Will we have abandonware?
  11. I read the whole thing because I love Sega, but it wasn't a very good article.
  12. I think it was just someone that wanted the magazines spood fed and didn't even bother with reading or looking at the site.
  13. Hahahaha yeah I didn't like those top view stages either.
  14. Thanks for the nesworld and the sega 16 pages. Good sites.
  15. I hope it's two player and has vertical stages.
  16. Racketboy has some good articles on retro gaming. http://www.racketboy.com/ Some good topics on collecting and pricing of older games too.
  17. That's awesome, I've been trying some sites out with the code with different results. We should add something like that here.
  18. Gnash

    Omgwtfbbq!

The blond one looks like she's in highschool. Sad stuff.
  19. I have a thing for quotes, not sure why.
  20. To have access to the files all you have to do is be part of our community once in a while. It is not a business it's a community that shares love for magazines and games. Making an interesting thread or making replies to posts is good enough. If you consider this too much work then I consider you lazy. Donations are optional so how can you say they are getting paid for the work? If you had bothered to surf the site you would have found that there are many options to get the magazines. Example: http://www.retromags.com/forums/Create-10-...-in-forum7.html Next time you make a post making accusations I suggest you look around a bit more and read the help thread. http://www.retromags.com/wiki/FAQ BTW this is my personal opinion, I'm neither staff nor affiliated with Retromags in any way besides being a member of the forum. The staff tries to be nice to everyone but I don't have to. You only have 4 posts and are already complaining. I say good riddance and don't let the door hit you on your way out.
  21. Dude I didn't eat breakfast today. You are now evil in my book.
  22. It was vaporware all this time. I don't think there will be a forever... they will use another name IMO.
