  1. https://www.dropbox.com/s/79e80fsmyb0unut/egm135inserts.zip?dl=0 I found the old scan on my PC. I stripped all of the pages out of the archive except the relevant scans, and also included the two adjacent pages for placement reference. Saved me time uploading.
  2. So this was a rescan issue to update the poorer quality one from we previously had. This version is much higher resolution. And is much better edited and cropped. But one thing you could do, could you take the inserts from the old scan that are missing In this one and add them in? It appears this scan has none of the subscription cards and album stickers. The ones in the old scan are actually pretty high res and look good. Then we would have an updated complete copy. The Subsription card after page 122. The EB Pokemon preorder card after page 146. The subscription card after page 170. The Greenday album sticker after page 194.
  3. I think there was a hello kitty email client that you got with that thing as well. One of the people I follow on Twitter has that and just got the matching keyboard.
  4. Yes we do. Assuming we can get them. And those should be easy to get in theory, we just need people who have the mag to no destructively scan their cover.
  5. File is working now. Does anyone have the alternate cover for this? The silver version we can add to the scan?
  6. No that wasn't from Sega. And that was Dactyl Nightmare.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtuality_%28gaming%29
  7. It's actually for scans that are so bad they need a rescan. That editing can't fix. Ir would require extensive work to fix. Or are low resolution etc. basically the scan is so bad it's recommended someone just rescan it. I think the idea is we don't want to purposefully put up a scan that is not good. I wish we had more people who would take an interest in editing but it is what it is. It's kind of not too much of an issue as the site is releasing scans at a pretty good clip.
  8. I agree most of my time is editing. If I didn't have so much on my plate to edit, I'd surely take you up on it. I actually wanted to take you up on it when you posted all those Next Hen scans originally. But that's when I had just started scanning myself.
  9. I have an xrgb mini framemeister by xcom. It's expensive way to go but the best way to go for HDTV play. Just make sure you get the rift RGB cables for each system. Systems that don't support RGB may need to be midded like N64.
  10. Err let me check. Frank Cifaldi recently released the high res image files from this issue in Twitter he ripped off a Zip disk from Nintendo he got from EGM. There were I think 4 files including this picture. What one do you have? https://twitter.com/frankcifaldi/status/725128721515057154 https://twitter.com/frankcifaldi/status/725032196529119232 I think the 2nd set of pictures is from the earlier Pokemon issue. I've inly seen one other cover of this one so far with the bird with the colorful feathers Pokemon(Sorry I don't know their names). So it seems like maybe only 2 covers? One for gold and one for silver. Here is a link to the eBay item with the gold cover. (Above is the Silver you posted) http://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/222102032709
  11. Or you could get this. Initial D with real cars. http://youtu.be/3I-a5onDg7s
  12. It's hard because I know I could afford almost anything gaming related if I really wanted it bad enough. I mean even the outrageously rare stuff I could find a way to make it work if I felt I absolutely needed it. I just have an aversion to paying high prices for unessesary things. So my holy grail thing I guess is something I could go buy if I really wanted to. But I refuse to pay asking prices. It would probrably be Radiant Silvergun on the Saturn. It's something I always wanted to aquire for a reasonable price. Just I've never seen it reasonably priced. Alternately , an arcade machine. Or let's say three or 4. Likewise I don't think owning an arcade machine is out of the question or extraordinarily expensive. It just seems impracticable to find a place in my house and pay shipping and track the ones down I want down. But if someone were to say I got this Shinobi Machine, Golden Axe 2, moving Outrun cabinet, and Point Blanc and I'll pay to ship them to you, I wouldn't say no.
  13. I'd be shocked if the have cartridges. This rumor started when Nintendo;s patents listed an optical drive -less gaming platform. And people refuse to believe it could mean a digital only platform. I'm more inclined to believe digital only. Although flash would make sense being how cheap it nowadays. I mean flash equivalent of Blu Ray storage is close to being pennies nowadays,
  14. Ill just say E-day and Marktrade are the mvp's. I just do what little I can. The speed he's getting these out is amazing.
  15. 1. Are you a natural redhead. ( I don't know why I picture you as having red hair but I do.) 2. Do you have a college degree, if so what and from where. 3. What do you do for a living. 4. What originally bought you to Retromags, 5. Star Trek or Star Wars 6. Have you ever done cosplay, if so as what. 7. Place you would live if you could pack up and move. 8. Favorite arcade game or games. 9. If you could write for a gaming website, which one. 10. What is the warrior nun reference? (Or are you an actual nun... Who's a warrior)
  16. I could have sworn I saw it this morning when I looked on my phone. But sure enough its not there. The preserved magazines are your archive.org linked ones.
  17. I don't know what you mean there is no section in the DL manager for them. We have a few issues on the site already.
  18. Anyone interested in scanning computer game review? I noticed Defunct games posted a pic with two sealed copy's of the January 93 issue with Dune 2 coverage. https://twitter.com/defunctgames/status/726261441502674945 I know he has some holes in his early EGM collection and was thinking of offering him one for trade. But I'd like to know if anyone wants to scan it first before I make an offer. I'd mail it to you.

  20. EGM 38 page 2. You can DL it from the site. Our copy has a much better picture as well. Looking at the folds on that blog site you can tell it is a cover page by the wrinkles on the edge which is typical of front and back covers. Also the reader service care text is typical of the EGM service card text on all their ads. (I guess I've scanned enough of these to pick that kind of stuff up.) Anyway I just looked through the 1992 EGM;s when this game was released on the front and back 2 pages till I found it.
  21. It looks a lot like an EGM maybe? I'll go look at some back issues.
  22. I'd like to vote for doing VG&CE we've had some early issues I'd like to see we've been missing forever. I love that mag. Especially the one with the Genesis on the cover (5?).
  23. I considered buying the Epson. It was highly rated along with the Canon Canoscan I got. It does look better. Although your ADF looks fine as well.
