276 pages. Includes a review catalogue reprinting all 123 cross-reviews (the 4-person review format which EGM copied from Famitsu) which appeared in the second half of 2014.
  3. "Those pages aren't missing." "OK, they're missing." Posters are part of a mag and so any scan that doesn't include them is incomplete, but it's still a dick move by the publisher to count them as content pages, since the missing poster in this issue (a double-sided 3x3 poster) could literally just be two giant images (without seeing the poster, who knows). And two big images is obviously WAY easier for their staff to whip out than 18 pages of editorial content would be. It's a lazy way to meet your page count, is what it is.

2007 Games of the Year issue. One of which is Sam & Max: Season One. Sam & Max is no Monkey Island, but the original LucasArts adventure still holds a place in my heart. I still have a cap with a flaming Max head on it. And when my mom got two new kittens this past summer, I tried to get her to name them Sam and Max. She didn't go for it, though.
  6. It doesn't seem to be credited here, but this issue was scanned by the Video Game History Foundation. Not sure if they paid for a commercial service to scan it or if one of their members did so.
  7. I know a lot of people are anticipating this. It's way too much work to implement here, so if VGHF has the manpower to make it happen, good. Of course, being fully text-searchable is not the same thing as being able to view the mags themselves, so we'll have to wait a few more days to see exactly what's what. As for me, I'll just keep my head down and continue putting out the best quality scans I'm capable of.

  16. Thanks for setting me straight on that. I believe I may have mentioned that I'm a nerd that stays inside all day hating sports, so I only know what I know by osmosis of living in a country with that dude on the brain.
