  1. Have to say, reading thru these I may have to get back to collecting these old guides again when time and money allows... Thanks again for uploading these!
  2. Thanks! I used to have a copy of this release (in addition to the original print with Zelda 1 + 2), and gave this copy to my sister when she got an extra SNES from me with Zelda 3. Sadly, that copy has been lost to the sands of time...
  3. Danke! I had tracked this one down a year or two ago, was not aware of a Sports book that they had. Always like the info you provide when uploading these!
  4. Also, quite nice to see a copy of this book that has not been worn by both love and time... I looked at my copy and, well... it WAS one of my very first guide's back in the 90s.
  5. Many Thanks! Unfortunately, the Game Boy Secrets books never had a book that was released with Link's Awakening included; the LoZ ALTTP book with the Link's Awakening guide is the only version that has that, I believe? ...unless there is a third Game Boy Secrets book I do not know about? (very hopeful)
  6. LOL, another great summary. Thanks again for the upload! Great to have a digital backup of this alongside my copy.
  7. Many thanks! I had the Second Edition many years back, didn't realize they had another version!
  8. Thanks! Looking forward to reviewing this one, this was released from a fun period in both gaming and my life (moving is always a blast... :-/)
  9. Many Thanks! Don't think I've read this issue before
  10. Thanks for posting! Technically, there is a third Gamemaster book, a 1995 book of codes and tips, though nowhere near as deep as the SNES/Genesis books (though it is MUCH larger size wise)

Yes I am! Specifically, the 70s-80s-VERY early 90s; the late 90s onward just were not the same... I also have three of the Where in ______ is Carmen SanDiego books for the not-Choose-Your-Own-Adventure style; quite Pun-Filled!
  12. Many Thanks again! This book was my second Jeff Rovin, though sadly the last one until years later when I began to hunt for collecting...
  13. Now THAT explains a lot! Thanks for the info! Also, Jeff Rovin was very prolific with his books, though I'm not sure how many books of his were published after around 1995 (the last ones I recall were the SNES/Genesis Conquering tips books and the 1995 large trade with assorted tips/tricks for the Genesis/SNES/GG/GB.
  14. I do, though I can't recall if it is the version that also has a Dr Mario bit in it (I recall there was a release that had that included...for some reason...). That book was my first exposure to Jeff Rovin's guides, and one of my personal faves (right alongside the Secrets of the Games Zelda ALTTP). I love how that version's SMB3 guide around World 5 gives highlight tips instead of step-by-step how-tos. (Image from Amazon's website)
  15. Because the Game Boy was popular, and...was Beavis and Butt-Head still popular/relevant in 1998? I recall trying the game a few years back, and thinking that while not great, it was far from the worst game or licensed game that I have ever tried.
