  1. Thanks for the info!!! That matches what I have, always was amused that I tended to get a different version when I ordered it on Amazon...
  2. I knew that there was a Sports book in Jeff Rovin's library (that I have yet to obtain), but I have to wonder how many variants this one has... Looking forward to reading this! Thanks again!
  3. Many Thanks! Should be a good read!
  4. I was beginning to wonder why the Game Boy release wasn't covered, then I remembered the Game Boy release was MUCH later than the SNES/Genesis/GG version... for some reason...
  5. Awesome! Was not aware that their Game Boy guides were in the "trade" (smaller) size books, the only one of theirs I had was of the larger variety. Both of the SNES and Genesis guides I have are the Trade size. Speaking of multi-volumes, how many different varieties of Jeff Rovin's How to Win at Nintendo Games (Volume 1) are you aware of? I somehow have collected three different versions of the same "Volume 1," with a subtle difference in the games covered (and differences in covers, such as Red or Black covers).
  6. Makes sense that this would only cover the "core" Ultima series, though a guide that also included, if only in summary, details on the console/portable releases that existed (the two Game Boy releases and the SNES games) would have been nice.
  7. LOL Only ever really played the Genesis B&B game, looking forward to taking a look at this guide.
  8. Thanks! I used to have one of their volumes for NES and Game Boy, and have one each of their SNES and Genesis books; not as good as the Secrets of the Games or Awesome series, but good in their own right. Do have to ask, will we see their Game Boy book(s) uploaded?
  9. Don't think I've seen this mag before, thanks for the upload!
  10. Thanks! Always fun when the guide's include developer content.
  11. Thanks! Never heard of this series before, looks to be an interesting read!
  12. Just scanned thru, a lot of the MKI/MKII data is almost lifted/edited right out of the Awesome (SNES/Genesis) guides, which is not a bad thing. Nice to see the same writing style used for MKIII coverage!!!
  13. Thanks! Don't immediately recall seeing this guide before, great to see a new guide I haven't run across before!!!
  14. LOL This is worth reading for all the wrong reasons... Are there more in this series?
  15. OH MY WORD YOU WERE NOT KIDDING!!! Just scanned thru the file, and ignoring "minor" errors (Super Metroid taking place on SR388???), I laughed myself silly on the Super Metroid description of Wall Jumping, noting that you needed a long HORIZONTAL path, instead of VERTICAL path. LOL!
  16. Will take a look, had never heard of this guide before. BTW, do you have access to the GamePro 1995 Power Player's Guides? There was an SNES and Genesis version (link below for Sega Retro's entry on the Genesis version): https://segaretro.org/Genesis_Power_Players_Guide
  17. Thanks! Shame you don't have Volume 4. If able, please keep uploading these types of guides (Amazing, Secrets of the Games, Jeff Rovin, etc.), as they are greatly appreciated! BTW, do you have the Super Metroid and Mega Man X Secrets of the Games guides? And if you have the Legend of Zelda Link to the Past Secrets of the Games Guide, which version - the one with Zelda 1 and 2 at the end, or the one with Link's Awakening at the end?
  18. Thanks, Areala!!! I own a sizeable collection of these early games (the Genesis, TG-16, Game Boy, SNES and NES books), and for the most part they are very good guides, and at times very good reads with bits of humor mixed in! Thanks for collecting these as digital files for preservation! Do have to ask, do you have access to the "Awesome" Games secrets series, and also the "(System) Game Secrets" books (the latter were from the same writers/publishers as the "Awesome" Game Secrets series)? These were also very good, and the later books had very...interesting humor added in to the writing. Thanks again!
