Sonic

This is one of my favorite games of all time I remember having some old poster from 1994? from a videogame store close to where I used to live. I'll try and dig it up and post a shot if I find it. I remember reading about SE toying with the idea of a remake/sequel back in 2005, anyone got a clue what happened to that? I can't seem to find anything about it.
