    I got the N64 version for Christmas when I got my N64. I spent many hours playing it. The controller is not fighter friendly, but it was doable.

    I will go with Gauntlet 4 for Genesis. It has some rpg elements in it that were not in the older one and for sure plenty of dungeons to go through. I would not call it Diablo like per-say, but there are some similarities there and it is my favorite Gauntlet game that was released.
