  1. Thanks for the dedication and hard work my dude.
  2. Assuming it was from one game on the cover, perhaps Life Force?
  3. I just looked it up and had no idea there was a blonde cave woman named Ayla from a book called Clan of the Cave Bear written in 1980 even though I have played Chrono Trigger several times. My guess is that Squaresoft did this on purpose. Many games I know back then liked to throw in references like that for humor. Thanks for the story. It is pretty cool. Sounded like a great job.
  4. I was more comparing it to the "one step forward, two steps backward" analogy albeit poorly it seems.
  5. One mag scanned, two mags released.
  6. They can't see the forest for the trees which is funny since we are talking about paper magazines.
  7. "Those 5 fishing and dancing 12 year-old olds will get their time to shine." -Editor
  8. Cuteness aside, that is one is cool looking cover.
  9. Yeah, I can get that Japan props up their baseball players to near-emperor like status. They have been doing it since Ichiro Suzuki or longer. I just try to just play sports nowadays as I don't watch as much as I used too. I can get the hate as it is something out of your control and possibly rigged lol.
  10. Highest paid at one time but he wasn't even the best player on the team that series.
  11. This is the kind of magazine that might of caught my eye but probably wouldn't buy because of lack of money as a kid. Thanks.
  12. Not the PS4 here but still pure joy.
  13. America 2024: "Are we the baddies? No, it must be the other guys." P.S. This is a joke. Please don't take too seriously.
  14. The magazines in the USA back in the 90s seemed to actually be more ads than coverage. And the coverage was usually bare-bones. Thanks for scanning.
  15. I really think this is more of a confession kind of thing of wanting to see them as a potential lover rather than reciprocal expectations. Any time I confessed to someone, it was to make my feelings known as to change the dynamic going forward even if it meant "I'm sorry, not interested." It at least put an end to it. I don't think anyone really is in love when they do this. They are just infatuated or crush as you put it. This is my experience though as I can't speak for others. Of course you can shake your head if you want. I am not saying in the slightest what he is doing is normal at all. This is more than likely a broken down man with a social anxiety issues or more. I'm just saying he didn't get there overnight. He just stopped trying after failing several times.
  16. I imagine those confessions were something that took the course of his life like in school and such. Did you never have a crush or confess to a girl before without getting to know them all that well? We don't know the details of what happened during those rejections. It could be out of the blue like you said or it could be more complicated. It states he was 41 at the time of the article so he is a different generation plus from the current ones so I can't speak to why Japan is the way it is now for the article you linked but it's not like it is any different from the past where a slue of people of both genders would rather go to host/hostess clubs than ask somebody out in Japan in my opinion. Again, I don't know.
  17. "According to Kondo, he confessed his love seven times, but was rejected on each occasion. In addition, he recalled he was laughed at and bullied for being an otaku....Upon being bullied at work, Miku took an extended sick leave and was diagnosed with adjustment disorder" They should be glad he didn't turn into the Joker.
  18. I would agree but several of their popular games like Armored Core VI Sekiro, Dark Souls, and Elden Ring were released for PC as well. A look on their home webpage and Bloodborne is the only exclusive banner there. Those sold well so I don't know why they would choose not to do the one with the most popularity. Conversely, because it is the most popular? Majority stakeholder Kadokawa, I am sure would have a say if they felt it could bring good business. Even a limited exclusive should have been appealable to Sony. They know there was demand from fans several years later. The specific emulator I mentioned for PS4 is basically is known for getting Bloodborne to a playable level with some tweaks. At least that's how I came to know of it.
  19. Bloodborne could have made major money if it released for other platforms. But 10 years later, it didn't and now you can almost emulate it.
