  1. Great point. "Provided by Retromags". Well, no it's not provided by Retromags. It's provided by "insert scanner name here" Sadly, I'm doubtful the scanners will get proper credit on there.
  2. Too bad they wouldn't have something like "provided by Retromags via kitsunebi" or something similar.
  3. That's what amazes me about this crew that scans and edits these mags/guides. I couldn't imagine how long it takes to debind, scan and edit a single mag. Particularly the standards on this site. I imagine sometimes you'll scan a page multiple times to make sure it's perfect. I'm glad I can do a small part with the occasional monetary donations, strategy guide donations, and editing/indexing pages.
  4. I haven't played it yet, but I got a Sega Genesis Mini for Christmas. Lots of retro goodness there.
  5. That was the last "regular" issue apparently. But this was a special issue.
  6. Finally! LOL. I had actually purchased this guide back in July 2022 to donate to the site. However, I had never played any of the Tomb Raider games and I had no idea the game/guide was from 2015! So according to the site guidelines, it wouldn't be available for a few years due to the 10 year thing. Which I was totally fine with and I think it a great thing to have. Just happy to see it here for others to see and enjoy.
  7. I was wondering about that. I was like "Huh?" But "added to gallery" is much clearer. At least to me.
  8. Just wanted to add that I don't think the "Final Fantasy II" listed in Pak Watch is the SNES release. All the releases are under NES Planner, so it seems it was the Famicom version of FF2 which never released on the NES.

  10. One of the few times that a game that was never released (well, years later it was) appears on the cover of a mag.
  11. Interesting that the news/rumours in this issue talk about Sega leaving the hardware business about 4 years before it actually happened.
  12. 100% this. I'd certainly like to keep some of the guides I've donated, but the end result in sacrificing it look REALLY good, so I can't complain. I can't wrap my head around how much work it is to have the scans look so good.
  13. John "I'll shill anything" Riggs is attached? Ugh. Oh well. I contributed for the digital version.
  14. They've already gone over the $255,000 mark. Holy shit. I'll be contributing for the digital edition.
  15. Brady's Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 has a cover in the database, but I don't see a download link, so I'm thinking we don't have it. And I don't see any entries under Prima for any of the Splinter Cell games, so we probably don't have though either. But our regular scanning folks can check for sure that they don't have them acquired already.
