  1. We just did a video for The Gaming Manual on McKids on the NES, so we've been playing tons of that!:
  2. Our next episode is out! We're alternating between doing a magazine and a game:
  3. For some reason, Cobra Triangle for the NES keeps coming to mind. It's noting super unique (another isometric NES title), but what it lacks graphically it more than makes up for in level design and gameplay. Such a unique little NES title that we definitely plan to do a deep dive video on.
  4. WCW/NWO Revenge (N64) Mortal Kombat Trilogy (PS1) McKids (NES) All for upcoming Gaming Manual videos.
  5. That MIGHT be a super early screen from said site; this is absolutely it circa mid 2004 when I joined: https://web.archive.org/web/20040727101945/http://mktemple.com/ MK Bible as in the legendary text file from back in the day? If so, I absolutely had that saved to my computer.
  6. *Vaguely. Excuse my ignorance here folks, is there really no edit button for posts or is mobile just hiding that from me?
  7. Dude WOW I vagely remember an older neighbor friend showing me this/these; it had to be circa 1997 IRC? I haven't heard the name or seen those screens in easily 25 years. Also, I'm a klassic MK veteran myself! . Do you remember TheMKTemple/Hideout online community from about 2004-2008?
  8. Thank you so much for checking it out! That was the goal; balanced and informative so happy that's what you got from it!
  9. Sorry to double post/please let me know if there's a more appropriate place to post this; it's ready!
  10. This sounds about right; they definitely released earlier versions of MKII that had yet to be tweaked. Bosses were notoriously difficult, and the AI was even worse than the final product (if you can believe that, lol). That's actually a topic I plan to do a video on in the near future! I remember playing my first game of MKII in a local pizza shop. I was enamored by the cabinet and attract screen, and insisted my mom give me some quarters while we waited! I don't remember who I ended up picking, but I DO absolutely remember facing Jax first, getting wrecked, and being tossed into the acid of the Dead Pool. That image and sequence left a huge impression on my then-6-year-old mind. From that day on, I've been a die-hard MK fan for life!
  11. SupaBoy about a year back now. If we're talking home consoles, I honestly tapped out after the PS2/GCN/XBOX generation.
  12. A buddy showed me his recently acquired one, and it's pretty cool! I grew up with the Model 2 as a kid, so I might be slightly biased .
  13. You got it! I'm doing a series called "The Good, The Bad, The Buggy":, with 2-3 good things, 2-3 bad things, and 1-2 little glitches or bugs. Zelda II is the first game on the list! About halfway through editing, it'll be here as soon as it's done!
  14. That's a stellar score, OP! I remember holding on to my Genesis Model 2 box FOREVER, then misplacing it. If it shows up I'll post it here! I got it for my birthday in 1994.
  15. I'm a die-hard MK fan since the first game! UMK3 is my favorite entry to this day. I play regularly, but miss competitive play. 2006ish saw some AMAZING online community play for that game!
  16. Zelda II: The Adventure of Link (NES) for a YouTube video.
