I'm actually getting all these, and I'll be pretty darn close to a full set once I do. I need replacement copies of 1 and 2 (mine are coverless/missing pages), a couple random stragglers (anyone have a spare #24, with the Rocketeer cover?) and most of the newer ones, but they shouldn't be too hard.

So what happened with this mag, does Jake still have it? I'm still interested in adding it to my library.

Rough usually means the cover is loose, off, or taped on, sometimes it means stuff is cut out, etc. It varies, I'll make a judgment call and withhold any that would be too crappy to bother scanning. I only keep them around in case someone is desperate to have the issue in their collection.

All I'm looking to get is a list of which ones are needed and an address to send them to.

I'm not necessarily looking to be rid of these (they're trade bait too), but I'm happy to donate any of these that are within Retromag's rules and are not currently "in possession" of a scanner. Yeah, by all means. I don't want to take anything away that a scanner will want, my offer is just to give whatever's unclaimed a good home if you're throwing them out anyway.

If you're going to throw them away anyway I'll gladly take them off of your hands. I still haven't found the patience to scan entire issues, but at least they'll have a good home...

If you're looking to get rid of the rest in one go, I'd probably buy them from you if you're not expecting ebay prices.

It's the least popular one right now, but I'm voting GameFan because it's the most expensive and therefore hardest to obtain. I guess I'm biased though, since I have the GamePro and EGM issues already and don't get much out of the 80s mags!

Yes, I have a very large collection of game magazines, about 19 short boxes full. I'm a journalist and historian, I use them as a reference library. Not a big deal if someone wants this one more than me, I just like having them around. For me it's a lot easier to go to my files and pull a magazine than it is for me to flip through digital versions if I need some information.

For the record I'd like the hard copy also, but we can sort that out later. My $20 is no strings attached (other than the scan).

Jake: the later issues aren't too hard to find, but the early ones are rare. I have about 15 issues, but my earliest is #7.

Also, I said this in the shout box, but I'll say it here too: if anyone wants to buy the actual GamePro #2 and get it scanned, I'm willing to throw $20 at the cause. I'm also willing to be the person who buys it, if it's easier to just donate to me, but since I'm not an established member here I wouldn't expect that level of trust yet. This issue seems to be the hardest one to find, and I'd really like to get the scan out of the way.

Jake, I sent you a PM too, but the one you bought is not GamePro #2, it's GamePro #7. You should try to get your money back if you can, because that issue is pretty common (I have three of them!) and not at all worth what you paid

So, according to the wiki, Game Player's #s 1-4 are uploaded to the site, but I don't see them anywhere in the downloads section. Does anyone know what's up? I would like to look at these issues.

The only arcade book there that is before the cut-off date is How To Win At Pac-Man.
