Yes, that is the goal. Some of the scans aren't the best, so editing them and turning them into CBZ files is what we are doing. We can always turn the cleaned up and straightened CBZ files back to PDFs that will look nicer if we decide to go that route.
I have been using a free program called PDF Shaper to extract the PDF pages to individual JPG files. It seems faster than having Photoshop do it.
It feels like that is a magazine I would buy out of curiousity but I have zero memory or buying it or even having it in my possession for the subsequent years.
Yes! That is the one!
I remember visiting Montreal for a month every summer and perusing the magazine shops downtown. They had a ton of magazines, and likely some of those were from overseas. There's a chance I bought the copy of Sega Power that poster came in but I have no memory of ever owning or even knowing about that magazine. But if no North American magazine ever released that exact poster (with a different magazine logo), then that is most likely how I got it.
Perhaps someone can assist me. As some point in the 90s I had a double-sided poster that was Jurassic Park on one side and Terminator (2?) on the other. At some point I cut the large Jurassic Park logo out of the poster and got rid of the rest.
I do not remember where I got the poster except that it was from a magazine because it has the page folds in it. I always assumed it was GamePro because that is the only magazine I read every month for years but I have not seen it in any of the issues I have come across. So it's highly unlikely it came from there. Maybe I bought some one-off magazine because it had the Jurassic Park poster but I have no recollection. I am hoping someone else came across this poster at some point and remembers where it's from.
