I play in the livingroom only when it comes to home consoles. I will occasionally play in bed, but I have PJs on. I will bring it to the bathroom if I am in the middle of a good part of a game when nature calls. It's like reading on the can, but more interactive! I don't know about these weirdos playing in the nude. They must be from Toronto or Vancouver.

After a month and a half, I have finally finished scanning this 324-page monstrosity. Now it is tie to edit. Hopefully life will allow me more time to do this in less time than it took to scan.

So as I am browsing HDTVs and wondering how much money to spend on it (i.e. whether to spend all the money I have saved up for it on the TV, or to not spend it all on the TV), I also started looking at receivers. Does anyone have any recommendations as to which HD receivers are good? Like, best perfromance for the best price? I'm not looking for an audiophile $3000 receiver; nothing crazy like that. Just something that has lots of inputs (HDMI, and other various video and audio inputs), which spits out some good hd 7.1 /5.1 surround sound.

If you lost 10 pounds in 15 days, you are losing it too quickly. in order to lose wieght and make it doesn't come back, you really shouldn't be losing more than 2 pounds a week. If you don't care about that and want to lose weight as fast as possible, the best way is to have a contest to see how could lose the most in a month. It's a miserable month, but it's fun at the same time.

But back then, wretling also sucked because the TV shows were almost always the same, at least if you watched WWF Superstars. A big name fighting a nobody. Always the same always boring. Yet people kept watching. Wrestling has changed, but so have people's attention spans.

Chemtrails? Honestly? I just lost some respect for you. You now command the same amount of respect from me as everyone else who believes in those kinds of consiracy theories. Because, you know, the atmosphere is so tiny that anything sprayed out of a plane at 30,000 feet won't get diluted by everything else in the atmosphere. And what exactly are these "chemtrails" supposed to be doing? Making people keep a certain political party in power all the time? Hasn't happened. Having them go along with whatever they want? Hasn't worked either. Population control? Weather control? Yes, that's all working out quite well, isn't it? -1 for you. No. Make that -20.

Sitcoms definitely aren't as good. While there are some great ones like Corner Gas and Big Bang Theory, most of them try to be "edgey" with sex jokes. Sitcoms were much more robust in the 0s, where they took on real life controversial issues. All in the Family, Maude, Three's Company, The Jeffersons...you don't get those kinds of topics anymore in sitcoms. Which is odd, since all those old shows were created by liberals, with liberal views in the show (for the most part), dealing with topics liberal people felt should be discussed. But today, those same liberal people scream bloody murder if you would try to do a show like The Jeffersons, or god forbid, All in the Family. Seems like now that they got their topics and opinions out in the open and in the "mainstream", you can't tal about controversial things anymore. Apart from that, McDonalds isn't as good as it used to be. Saturday morning cartoons are non-existant, professional wrestling, Lego, toys in general...the weather is the same (actually, it's starting to cool down a bit now). Don't forget, we are all older now, so even if things like Leg stayed the same, we probably wouldn't feel the same way about it as we used to. Your tastes and attitude changes as you get older, so all the things listed may actually still be as good; it is probably us who has changed more.

Well, someone talk about the 7800 then. I only ever heard about it well after it had died. I don't remember ever seeing it in stores either.

The Master System is also 25 this year. Let's talk about that instead

300 dpi is more than enough. No one is intending on printing these, so anything higher is useless. Even 300 is too much for viewing on a screen that does 72dpi, but it does let you zoom in a lot and whatnot.

I am far from knowledgeable in that strange wiki code. I just took an existing table and changed it for the indexes. I have no idea how to build a timeline like that, though I could use that one and modify it. I have been so short on time lately that I have done no work on this site :(. I am trying to get some other things done first so I can go back to scanning and doing wiki crap. Having an actual life gets in the way of a lot of things!

That orange text is really hard to read on the light blue background. Some of those may need to be scanned again since they came out very very crooked, and have a lot of bleed through. No more using your ADF!

Don't worry. They're adding some of their own. They said they were going a more mature route with the new Metroid game.

I dunno. They seem to be having a ton of success with their service. I may cave and buy a membership next time I see one on sale as I want to play 1 vs 100.

Indeed. It's the only one that one on on the site before you has. It's the last missing one!

That because people using the internet are too stupid and/or lazy to spell words correctly and to use proper grammar. I still do my best to use internet "terms" like "IMO", "BRB", etc, because I'm not that lazy. The only time you see this piss poor grammar and spelling is online.

Mad World is pretty fun. I haven't played it much since I still have a CRT television, which makes it hard to see stuff and impossible to read any of the text. I am still waiting for House of the Dead to get cheap here so I can pick it up.

I don't think Kotaku or Joystiq will pick up this "news" as they are both swamped with E3.

They were mainly fat because everyone wanted to advertise in them. More ads gave the editors more pages for content. Sadly, those days are behind us. I do my part when filling out game surveys by saying I saw and ad for a game or read about the game in a magazine as opposed to a web site.

I never played the original game, but I am wet for this one. 2D platforming is where it's at for me.

Still not going to get one

It depends on whether exchanging levels requires a Gold membership or not.

Got Donkey Kong Jungle Beat the other week for the Wii, and picked up Super Princess Peach for the DS and Boom Blox Bash Party today.
