  1. I'm going to give it another try later tonight with the regular sensor bar. There is nothing interfering with the signal as every other game works perfectly. No glass in the livingroom except for the actual tv screen
  2. I decided that Boom Blox sucks. The game itself is great, but I don't know if they did a piss poor job programming this game or what. While playing, the disc is constantly being read, making noise and being annoying. That wouldn't be so bad on it's own, however, it also affects the gameplay. The constant disc reading seems to affect the Remote cursor. That or their code for the remote tracking sucks. Often time after doing something, like removing a block or flicking the remote, the cursor will stop moving on screen. It starts responding again after several seconds, but this is not acceptable, especially during timed stages and such. I nearly snapped that game in half after playing the second adventure challenge where you have to stop the bears and raccoons from stealing your gems by throwing bombs at them. After throwing a bomb, I cannot move the cursor for several seconds a lot of times, which causes problems when trying to stop 102 enemies from taking your gems. Is anyone else having these problems? I have read about a lot of other people having this problem. I am using a wireless sensor bar, but I doubt that is the issue since every other game works perfectly. I will try it with the regular sensor bar, but I doubt that will change anything. If it doesn't, I am not keeping this game. The problem is way too frustrating for me to tolerate it since it affects how well I do in the levels and thus what gets unlocked and what doesn't.
  3. I have no plans to buy any of these yet. I always wait and see what rating various critics give the games (I find that anything getting 7.5 out of 10 or more turns out to be a very enjoyable game for me). Depending on the reviews, I have my eyes on the following titles: BOOM BLOX Bash Party Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings Klonoa The Conduit Let's Tap The Legendary Starfy Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars I have the first Boom Blox and love it, but have barely played it. The creating and sharing of levels really intrigues me about the next one. I'll have to play through the first one before starting the second one.
  4. I am most looking forward to Klonoa.
  5. Stuff like this (from May 2006)? All of the trashing I gave was for good reason, and all of it was true. You should be thanking me anyway....my decision to do my own release is what motivated Philly to throw out his "one issue a week" rule and get everything he had out there, since he felt he had to compete with mine Well, I've finally reached my goal of acquiring issues 1-100 of Nintendo Power, so my presence is going to be limited again here. Thanks to everybody who helped out with this project!
  6. That Motorstorm video looks great, but the actual game will not look anything like that. Kind of misleading of Sony to show pre-rendered video on a PSP screen, trying to suggest the game will look just like that.
  7. Not to mention that you couldn't get a white one even if you wanted it, for racist reasons or otherwise
  8. You have to have a real hard-on for Capcom to be able to make full use of those features. And not mind looking like a total dork.
  9. Pass. I'm actually going to buy a second DS Lite as a backup before the DSi launches, since the DS is known to break at the hinge and whatnot. Unless they release another New Super Mario Bros. or Zelda game that can only absolutely be played on the DSi, I am passing on this. I am not interested in those other media features all that much.
  10. Definitely GamePro. Enough with EGM already
  11. Triverse has that issue, but hasn't gotten around to scanning it yet. He may be able to help you out
  12. Boring. I always hated Street Fighter. Any 1-on-1 fighting game, really. I found them uninteresting and tedious, trying to learn all those moves. I guess that was to try and make up for the lack of story or change. It was just one three-round fight after another. Yawn. I always liked beat-em-ups. They are kind of repetitive too, but at least you could walk through the level left and right and up and down, and find weapons and stuff to use. Super Double Dragon was great. I have zero interest in this game, especially for the price it will go for. I'd rather spend that kind of money on Legends of Wrestlemania if it turns out to be a good game.
  13. I didn't see any ads that I remember.
  14. Because it's a "Special Collector's Issue"
  15. I saw this too. It looks pretty neat, but I am not a big enough fan of Nintendo Power to spend $13 on this magazine.
  16. I should start playing that game. But I have so many others that would be quicker to play through so I could get them out of my hair. I wouldn't mind a new Zelda for the DS. The last one was brilliant.
  17. At least the 360 has the downloadable episode for GTA. By the way, the link is broken.
  18. Any of the Lego games (Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Batman) are fun. Even though they are on the PS3, the Wii versions have some motion control, which makes the game a bit more interactive.
  19. Ah. The way you had worded the post made it sound like it would be scanned the day after voting ended. Your message to me saying to expect it Sunday also threw me off
  20. They look kind of similar...they're tables
  21. I'm still waiting to be given LAST week's scan for editing
  22. I think that was the plan on the wiki. Sega Visions pages has that kind of table; if I understand you correctly.
  23. I probably shouldn't have watched that on my work computer at the government.
  24. Care to take care of the UK magazines? I am completely unfamiliar with any UK magazine. Except when I read a Retro Gamer in a bookstore once.
