    They take the same time to scan. The second one is brighter, but the top one is actuallyvery close to the original print version. Much more so than the second one. But it depends on what is best for the screen. That's why I want to get people's opinions on here before starting

    Like I said, pay back the favour down the road when you are able to. Just accept them! And if you have a warm place to live in, which I assume you do, then you have a place to keep those magazines. They'll be just fine even though they aren't in a controlled environment. I have several magazines that I've had for 7 or 8 years, stored where I had space, and they are still perfect. Relax and take the magazines!

    I use MS Access. Each system gets a different table. I mark down the title of the game, the year it came out, If it has a case or not, if it has a manual or not, the overall condition of the game, the condition of the box, manual and disc (where applicable) on a scale of 1 to 10, and any notes about damage, if it's a variant, or if it's still sealed. Works perfectly for me

    Next up: GamePro Issue 68, March 1995. Out of the gate, I will mention that a few pages have parts cute out. If anyone has this issue and wants to scan those pages for me, send me a private message. The pages that are needed are: Pages 126, 126, 127, 128, 131, and 132. Here are two scans of the cover: One using the default scanner profile, and the other using some sRBG profile (both with saturation upped 20% post scan).     That is a lot of money. But if it is something you collect and plan on keeping for many, many years, then it's worth it. If the future in laws offered to get them for you as an early Christmas present, I say go for it. Just return the favour to them down the road when you are able to as a big thank you

    Dammit. I wanted their music to go to Guitar Hero. That was the only way I was ever going to buy one of these fad music games. I have no interest in buying Rockband with all their silly, cheap looking plastic instruments. One guitar for a Beatles Guitar Hero is all I would be willing to tolerate.

    15? Bah. They're punks! They would have pushed you out of the way if the tables were reversed. Though, if they were in a library, then they may not have been punks. If any of them wore glasses, chances are they were clean cut, good kids. You could have just shimmied/weaseled your way inbetween them. You were this >< close.

    I am looking for a hard copy of the March 1993 issue of GamePro. More specifically, I am looking for the Sonic the Hedgehog 2 poster that came with that issue. I have my old original poster from that issue, but it's pretty beat up from 15 and a half years of use and storage. So if anyone has that issue with the poster, or just the poster (which looks like new), I am willing to buy it from them if they want to sell it to me. Halp!

    There is no such thing as a "hardcore gamer". A gamer is a gamer, whether they play 2 hours a day or two hours a week. "Hardcore gamer" is what someone calls themselves to make themselves feel better about the fact they they have nothing else to do in their life . Not to mention is a very annoying term. In any case, Wii Music is not something you would suspect guys in their 20's would buy unless it was for a girl or their young kids. I am not saying I will never play the game, but I see it as something more geared towards my kid when he turns 4 or so than myself. But if the game turns out to be lots of fun, I am sure it would have to be something good to be enjoyed by you guys. Do keep us filled in on how the game actually is

    Why, why, WHY?? This game is more suited for young children and their 30+ parents who will be asked to play along. A lot of things get called a "kids game" for the Wii, but this is definitely one where it is most likely true.

    Yes, I forgot about that. Perhaps he didn't see the link. Sometimes I miss it since it's in between a lot of info. Maybe it should have space around it or something.

    Joining a site like this for the attack system only is a bit odd. I mean, the attack system isn't that great or that much fun. The Arcade and Casino are far more enjoyable. And a quick search of the FAQs or even Google would have told you what a .cbr and .cbz file is and what you need. If you can't take 5 minutes to look up something yourself, then that is your loss. Good riddance.

    I just finished packing all my retro gaming stuff back into boxes. I have had it out for over a year and hadn't used it once. So I might as well store them safely until I use them. My plan was to have them out and play them since I would have the room to keep them out. However, the setup of the computer room doesn't give me the urge to sit there and play, so I haven't played them at all. I'll have to wait until I move again in a few years where I have a room that is just for games. Then I can set it up how I want to allow me to play for hours on end.

    If the rapidshare idea is used, then there should be a rapidshare account made for this site, where everyone who uploads can log in to it and dump the stuff there. Would MegaUpload not be a better choice. As far as I know, they do not have a file size limit of 100 megs. At least not if you have a membership, as far as I know.
