  1. Yep, Ubi Soft is apparently going to combine Puzzle Quest type gameplay with the rather considerable amount of Might and Magic lore in a manga style game that bears quite a resemblance to PQ (could this be the first PQ clone or have there been more and I have just been to busy playing PQ to notice?). Capybara is doing the honors for this version on DS only currently. Their only other game so far was Critter Crunch for PSN. Kotaku dropped the bomb on this one for us.
  2. Boon I know is no longer with the company, he left years ago, not sure exactly when though. Tobias, I think is still there but in a slight diminished role (not sure if it was a personal or professional choice).
  3. Unfortunately, I doubt it will get that type of treatment. I just hope it is not a straight port and they change it around a little like a certain scene was changed in Eternal Blue when going to PSX.
  4. They took it down for some reason, the direct link from their front page doesn't work either. I am going to see if I can get another link for it. Computer and Videogames.com has basically the same article up: http://www.computerandvideogames.com/article.php?id=214464
  5. I think it would be pretty funny watching Elmer Fudd pull off a Fatality. Or Bugs Bunny doing one like say, the death of a thousand carrots (stuffing them down his opponents mouth till they explode).
  6. http://www.kingoffighters12.com/ Check it out everyone, the site is live now.
  7. Figured this would do well in a post of it's own. New Enthusiast.com has several videos and information on Duke through the years. http://newenthusiast.com/a-visual-history-...ver-20090512539
  8. Just when it seemed things were getting better at Midway, along comes more bad luck: http://www.vg247.com/2009/05/12/midway-cre...dway-insolvent/
  9. Thanks for the heads up! I will definitely be on the look out for this when it comes out.
  10. Here are some video game comic strips that I thought you guys would enjoy (some more suggestions from the fiancee since she found these). Reminds me of the Tetris commercial from years ago: Anyone have any others of interest?
  11. Not gaming related but these are what I found in my fiancee's wedding folder: and my fave:
  12. 12 more!?! That is like 1 a day for the next 12 days, if done before going on vacation. No wonder you are going on a vacation. Thanks so much for the upload.
  13. Welcome to the site Angry_Sun, it is great to have you here. Just flesh it out a bit for those interested here are some links to some of the wonderful content available from Nintendoland.com Planet Zebes For all metroid fans (refresh the front page for more logos) Zelda Philly, I am looking at you on this one, any other Zelda fans? Check this out. Mario Who isn't a fan, or at least know, of Mario? Ever wonder about some of the stuff at Nintendo? Like how did the names of the creatures come up? Check this out.
  14. There is a certain Ebay seller that comes here and watches our ebay deals section for possible issues to purchase so it may be better to not post it in the open forums. Maybe in a PM to members you know are interested in that issue or something? Like you know that kitsune is trying to collect them too.
  15. Not sure, don't have an iPhone (are the games compatible with the iTouch? I know there was a pretty decent version of Dexter for iPhone, or at least it is coming.
  16. Kotaku recently put up a comparison of the artwork for King of Fighters 12, old and newly redone by hand work from the game. There are more pics on the Kotaku site but they zoomed up really close on them and they don't look as good as they should.
  17. WOW! I am not trying to be an idiot, although I am good at it, but it would be funny if the winner was someone that is a member here.
  18. It is apparently out now and costs $7-Resident Evil: Degeneration! Check out the preview pic below and head over to get it on your phone.
  19. It will be interesting if they ever get gaming related shows on there (like Captain N and the Super Mario Show and such).
  20. It is all covered under copyrights and such (which can be renewed). In the case of the NES, people are able to program around the different chips in the NES and find alternatives and such to the point that they can build a compatible NES without infringing on Nintendo copyrights and trademarks. Check the compatibility of those newer unlicensed NES machines, for the most part, some games like Castlevania 3 and Super Mario Bros 3 will not work on them (mainly ones that used newer MMC chips among others).
  21. Talk about dedication! That is cool that you found that. I have been watching various auction sites for mags and didn't even know that was up for auction. Don't worry, it will probably come around again someday (who knows, we might get a member that has it and is willing to scan it).
  22. The NFSW ones are fairly safe, the video, the NFSW material pops up about 1 or 2 minutes into it and only for a few seconds (just long enough to get in trouble if the boss walks by). The first link has the NFSW material as a small thumbnail you have to click it to get a bigger pic. Just so you know.
  23. Here is some info from Kotaku about it: NSFW http://kotaku.com/5249182/even-more-duke-n...ppers-and-milfs Gameplay footage: NSFW http://kotaku.com/5247608/duke-nukem-forev...ameplay-footage According to the link below, Take 2 owns the rights to publishing Duke Nukem Forever. http://kotaku.com/5243277/is-duke-nukem-de...od-%5Bupdate%5D
  24. Playstation Museum is a good resource for PSOne information: http://www.playstationmuseum.com/Support/ For all things Atari you can't do much better than these two sites: http://www.atarimania.com/start.php http://www.atariage.com/ Like the NES system? http://www.nesworld.com/
