    I Declare First!

Thank you to all of you for the massive amount of work going on with the wiki. It is awesome seeing it come together like it is. Very nice indeed.

    I Declare First!

I got second. You know, southern gentleman and such, letting the lady go first...yeah that is it...
  3. Well, Midway may have just met big daddy Warner Bros. VG247.com has the article about the rumor. Let's take a look at the implications if this goes through: Midway owns Mortal Kombat and released Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe recently. Warner Bros, at last check, owns DC Comics (as evidenced at the bottom of DC Universe they still do). Now if Warner Brothers owns Midway, we might be able to see some DLC content for MK vs DCU! Of course they would probably screw it up with DLC like Bugs Bunny or Elmer Fudd instead.
  4. That is why I like living here in Arkansas, sure they have the option of Ticketmaster at most of the major events they have but they always put it either louder or in bigger print, you can buy tickets at the stadium. I know it is not an exclusive or anything but it is nice to be reminded that Ticketmasters is not the only option (though for some reason, people still go out of their way to order from them).
  5. Is that US coin?!? CONGRATULATIONS on that!
  6. Thank you, message replied. Yeah, I am not too sure about those links either, better to take the safer route. There are a couple that aren't allowed here anymore (as far as I know, none of the links you sent me are bad). It would be awesome if someone could gather up the videos and make them available (certainly out of the question for here not only because of it being out of the scope of RM but the size issues are also a concern).
  7. Have you watched TNA in the last month or so? It has gotten way better, much better than the 'Entertainment' that WWE has put on. We can continue this in PM's or another thread as we are on the verge of hijacking this one...
  8. Thank you very much. We are not trying to be mean, just trying to do right by the publishers, not only of magazines but games too.
  9. Here you go Areala: Sorry about not posting straight here but IGN.com has some more info on these two particular ads that is interesting: http://psx.ign.com/articles/092/092440p1.html For some more Fear Effect info, especially pics on the never released FE3 go to the Unofficial Fear Effect Web Site.
  10. Now your talking my language, watch out for meppi and me to start asking about what you have! So, um, what do you have in the prowrestling department?
  11. I would call that one a judgement call really. I mean, you could scan it and if someone has the same issue without writing on the pages then that would save time as they would only need to scan the pages with writing on them (you could make a note of what pages have writing on them in the information area of the download page).
  12. It is the PS3 equivelant of the Xbox 360's Red Ring of Death (RROD).
  13. Special thanks to Waremonger for going the extra mile to release Ahoy! #1 (a personal fave of mine from my childhood and early days with computers). Don't take my word for it, here is Waremonger's thoughts on this issue: http://www.retromags.com/forums/Ahoy-Issue...9-file1214.html Check it out, one of the great, almost lost to history, mags from computing's past.
  14. Gblock, please refrain from discussion of 'hacking' consoles.
  15. Don't worry, there will be a news post or something about it if they actually come through on some of their claims for PSN (Capcom is even re-releasing I believe Marvel vs Capcom 2 on Xbox Live, possibly other services too soon).
  16. I remember the 'Romero' ad but not that one, I remember one where he looks like a girl, my brother couldn't tell at first.
  17. Just ran across this and was wondering if anyone else has seen this before? http://atarihq.com/tsr/odd/scans/adapter.html Apprerently some US NES games contain a Famicom adapter inside them already. Never knew that.
  18. You can also try using the color balance feature, it works sometimes better than the auto white. Thanks for doing Ahoy #1 and working on Compuer Fun #1!
  19. If it is not sensitive information I would just leave it, unless you are wanting to erase it. Maybe we can get some more votes on how others feel about it?
  20. Here is a timeline for the Gameboy put up by Kotaku.com for those interested: http://kotaku.com/5222405/the-life--times-...tendos-game-boy
  21. As far as stuff you wrote in the mags, if you have time and don't mind, could you blot it out (mainly if it is personal info, like a mailing lable and such).
  22. Nickerous has been going the extra mile with getting the editing just right, his releases are going to be nice indeed. Thanks for scanning EGM #23, I haven't seen that issue in years.
  23. Forgot that part there Gnash about the system being bricked. But, doesn't it show you in the manual for the PS3 how to take out and replace the hard drive? If so, how would it be voiding the warranty to take it out and back it up (of course not on a PS3, not sure how you would do it).
  24. Kotaku covered the birthday of the Gameboy for those interested: http://kotaku.com/5220612/happy-birthday-game-boy They have some Japanese commercials up too.
  25. There were a few like Tengen, Namco even and a few unlicensed companies like Color Dreams and Wisdom Tree.
