  1. I know that this information may not be relevant to everyone here, but hopefully some folks on this board can actually make it there: California Extreme! I make it a point to go every year because it is like stepping back in time to the 80's where one could immerse themselves in a thick, narcotic blanket of bleeps and bloops, bongs and booms, and the loud SNAP!'s when a pinball wizard got themselves a free play! There's 70's and 80's music playing on the jukebox, video from the laserdisc games projected on the wall for all to see, pinball machines from every era, but one of the coolest things is to see (and play!) the prototype machines that never made it to production. There's a lot of the old staples, like Donkey Kong and Asteroids, but there is always something new (or wasn't there the previous year) every year! An emulator is one thing, but there's nothing like playing the real thing. It's an experience! - Kitsune
  2. I second that! I have an Epson Artisan 800 that has an auto feeder as well, but it really only works best on text documents, and the thicker glossy pages of magazines tend to put a heavy strain on that part of the unit. Best bet is to use the flatbed. But I would recommend the Epson Artisan series for a machine if you want one with a document feeder.
  3. I believe I have an extra one around here. I will check and get back to you.
  4. Electronic Games #1 is now uploaded. Enjoy! Does this mean I get "Super Awesome" status? Heh, just kidding. I love sharing, and I know how hard it has been for others to get the magazine. I just hope you all enjoy it. ^_^
  5. Yes, I won this. Roughly, it boils down to about $15 an issue. Now I almost have a complete run, including Computer Entertainment. ^_^
  6. UPDATE! Oh, happy day! I am so very excited and pleased to bring this issue to the community. Probably more so than any I have brought before:
  7. Yes, between myself and Waremonger, we have nearly all of them coming. I will get mine out as quickly as I can. It is simply a matter of time. ^_^
  8. That's already happening. ^_^
  9. I've been to E3 a couple of times. I haven't been since the change, though. It was a lot of fun each time I went. One of the most fun things about it for me, besides some of the cool (and not so cool) schwag, was getting to play games that didn't make it to market, or with features that didn't make it to the final release.
  10. The thing is, all I want it for now is simply to get it scanned. I know I'd more than likely make my money back, so the money really wasn't an issue. ^_^ No one touched the auction until the last few hours, so I was really hoping that I could have gotten it for the starting price. I am surprised that it went so high, though. I thought I put a bid on it that no one would want to try to surpass. Oh well, there will be other chances. Maybe we will get lucky and the person who bought it will scan it and put it up. ^_^ I thought about announcing it here too, but I decided against it for the same reasons. ^_^
  11. I was planning on scanning it then reselling it so I could get more mags to scan, so I could scan them and resell them so I could get more mags... ^_^ Hopefully whoever did purchase it is a member and is going to scan it so we can all enjoy!
  12. Yeah, I was the first bidder. $200 was my limit. I missed it by that much.
  13. It is 117 pages at 150 dpi.
  14. I can. The Rapidshare link is: http://rapidshare.com/files/230270124/EFwC_G_Nov_82.zip ^_^
  15. Electronic Fun With Computers & Games, Nov. ’82 Vol. 1 #1 is now completed and ready to upload. ^_^
  16. Sure, no problem. I was planning on scanning the covers anyway. I should have a chance this next week. ^_^
  17. My favorite candies are Zotz and Now & Later. I love the Zotz because they have a fizzy center, and the Now & Later's I like because they have a tingly tang to them. Yummy!
  18. Hello everyone, Here is my list of magazines that I have. I just completed the list and will be going through to edit all of the ones that are already on the site, or on someone elses' project.
