  1. I have two further issues of CG:SP yet to scan. Those are issues 98 & 99. Cameron is getting a postage cost to ship another big bundle of issues to me so if you haven't purchased any issues as yet it might pay to hold off a bit. I can always get issues numbers off him if you want to keep an eye out for M.I.A issues ( I believe he has most but not all issues of this title)
  2. Let me know what issues you have of CG:SP you have so I don't have to get them shipped to NZ. No point wasting money if I don't need to. Or destroying someone's collection
  3. Another Sega title gets edited, this time marktrade's scans of Sega Pro issue 10 making it out of raw scans into PDF over at OGM
  4. No multi-format magazine of the period does justice to either the Amiga or PC so you probably should split your reading to Amiga Format for the 'Miggy and PG Gamer (UK) and PC Format for the IBM PC. The US Amiga mags were predominantly about productivity so no joy from that side of the world but PCXL was an okay PC mag.
  5. The only mag I possess of later issues is the June 2014 #263 which I have scanned and have archived in PDF format.
  6. Another of marktrade's raw scan sets gets an outing with issue 03 of Sega Force now available at OGM
  7. I didn't have much time for my PSX but a few games did get a thrashing including: Gran Turismo (the original version) Rollcage Raystorm Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo Soul Blade Colony Wars Additionally, the youngsters liked a couple of Mario wannabee titles: Spyro the Dragon Medieval Army Men
  8. The ones I intend editing next are Sega Force #2 probably followed by another issue of Play. I tend to look at covers to see what takes my fancy of those when editing them so while I have processed 1-5 to date there's no guarantee issue 06 is next on my list to edit.
  9. Not sure if anyone is into UK mags but marktrade provided raw scans for some and no-one has picked them up so here goes ....... Issue 01 of Sega Force is now available over at OGM ....... Issue 04 of MegaTech is as well ......
  10. I class myself in this field as per Sean697's post, e.g, mid-fifties playing Battlefield One currently and levelled up to 22 (3 stripes) to date.
  11. Play issue 48 gets the editing treatment and is now available over at OGM. Once again thanks to marktrade for the raw scans .....
  12. Jungle King was better thanks to the atmospheric Tarzan yell at the start of a level
  13. Kiwi thanks the Gods that someone else edited that issue. Seriously, the raw scans have been sitting on my HDD since marktrade uploaded them and I've been skirting around this one and a couple of others due to the sheer number of pages that they have. I had to edit the pages of that 400 page Duke Nukem monster issue and it left me drained.....
  14. I haven't seen such a so "over the top rant" like that since Nirv was here
  15. (Yes) besides the mags listed above are not available on OGM so I am definitely interested in acquiring those as well to fill in the blanks.
  16. I debind the magazines/books to scan them to go through the document scanner so getting them back is not really an option but yes, I only use PDF format on my website so that wouldn't be a problem. Maybe you could send one through that is less important to you and I'll scan it and you can see if the quality is acceptable to you? The only problem I have is whether or not they would attract the attention of the publishers and their lawyers if we made them available.
  17. marktrade's raw scans get an edit this week and as a result of that PC Gamer (USA) issue 88 is now available over at OGM.
  18. I've logged 56 hours on Battlefield One since it arrived on PC, hence the somewhat sporadic updates on OGM recently. I don't think any other game has taken up so much of my spare time since, well, Battlefield 2 really. I have the later versions but they just didn't do all that much for me. All the rest of my gaming time tends to playing using emulators to play older console games or arcade games via M.A.M.E. For that the PC is king!!!
  19. Hiya, I don't normally reply to posts offering magazines on Retromags as I run my own website so do not want to be seen to be poaching content however I can advise that Edge 118 has already been scanned and is available over at OGM along with issues 2, 3 & 4 of Ultimate Future Games so I'd be really keen to acquire your issues of that magazine along with Edge 35 to fill in some blanks in the archive. I live in New Zealand however so I'm guessing postage will be a fair bit. If you are willing to look at it get a cost to ship to Auckland, New Zealand and if it isn't out of the ballpark expensive let me know and we'll try and work things out. Kiwi
  20. The games I played the most in the arcades in no particular order would be: Jackal (Top Gunner in the USA) ... far and away the game I spent the most money on. I would spend all lunch hour with a workmate playing two player and we got so good we could last the entire time on a single coin Gauntlet 2 Space Invaders Defender Moon Patrol Joust All of these I still tend to play in M.A.M.E so they've certainly stood the test of time in my gaming life.
  21. My favorite games that needs an update would be: Super Mario 64 .... I agree with the previous comments about this game Battlezone 2 ... the best real time strategy and FPS all in one ever made IMHO.
  22. For anyone interested in the UK version of PC Gamer issue 102 is now available at OGM....
  23. Casting aspersions on both of them = priceless
