    Also, they couldn't bring Golden Eye to Virtual Console because it kept giving some strange errors. Even the people who create injectible VC games for modded systems couldn't find a way to trick it into working. Not sure on the specifics, but that's probably another reason why they're responding with this remake.

    Oh, man. My friend covers video game music and he just did the space theme from Ducktales for NES. Add this to my list of constantly replayed games. This is a game I turn to more than once or twice a year, I just LOVE playing through it.     This is a great game. I remember seeing the ad everywhere and for good reason. I first played it on PSX and it blew me away. The third person view was great once you got used to it, and fighting humans as well as animals was awesome and intimidating.

    Make sure you find a scanner driver that works.. might not be possible if you're using Windows Vista or 7. I didn't even know Next Generation had been around that long! I only started reading it from around the Dreamcast era. Hopefully we can get some of these scanned one way or another.

    The NES had a long run, too. Something like 1985-1996(at least here in the states). There was a reason for that, though. It might have to do with how some people hand down the older console to their kids to use.

    Actually, I'm going to add the Game & Watch. Without it, we wouldn't have the GameBoy or the DS, which are the most popular handhelds of all time.

    Yeah.. it's two systems mating, with a CD bun in the oven. Quite large and in charge(of my power outlet). I almost scored a CDX at a flea market, but the guy said it had to be serviced and wouldn't sell it OR the sweet game collection he had with it.. Debated stealing Snatcher.. I never had an original XBox, that thing literally was too huge for me to own, I just didn't want it. The controller was really a turn-off for me too. A few of the games I wanted for XBOX eventually ended up backwards compatible for 360, though.
