  1. I think I was 5.. yeah. Must've snuck a bit too much candy. As an adult I didn't have any until a few years ago. Just a month ago I found out one had eaten away at my tooth pretty badly, and the back just broke off. It started as a small hole so I didn't think much about it. I always take great care of my teeth, but I guess since it was a hole it was hard to keep up with. That and I love my sweets.
  2. Kojima said video games can't be art? And he's always the one making games that play like movies... I think he's right, though. It will be a console if you want it, but you'll be able to take it with you and use it for various things as well. Think of an iPhone type deal(music player, phone, etc.) with the capability of being hooked up to a TV to play if you want, or standalone on the device itself. It's not that far-fetched, and I believe that's what he means. I don't LIKE the idea, but it's probably what will happen at some point. Whether it'll be a fad or not is another thing. Man, I'm really getting behind. I haven't looked into anything about Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. I hope it doesn't mean Snake is so old he's using a walker to get around.
  3. Well, then add Final Fantasy Tactics A2 to the list. You might like it, too. Have fun!
  4. Oh, you also might like the Disgaia game they have for DS if you enjoyed the PS2 version. It's strategy RPG along the lines of FFT or Ogre Battle.
  5. I actually do get use out of all it! I try to get my family together a few times a month at my place to play board games or break out the old systems. It's also nice to have them around if I feel like playing a certain game. I'm pretty glad I have it all. I agree though, if you're not using it ever and you need a bit of cash, maybe you should sell it. And definitely don't hoard! Everything I buy usually only ranges about $2-5. It's not a very expensive hobby as of right now. I don't pay large sums for things I used to have, I just don't like to. Been there, done that- not going to pay a current price on an old thing. I usually only buy things if there are three key factors: 1. It's dirt cheap 2. I don't have to order it 3. It can fit under the bed or in the closet This is a good point, too.
  6. I'm doing the same thing currently.. I'm buying board games as well. -_- Running out of room. I always recommend people just not sell their stuff unless it is something pointless. I have regretted selling/giving away/trading in everything that I have over the years. Now I want to play them all again! The joy of being an adult is not having to ask mommy to buy me things! I obviously cannot help you with this matter. Good luck, buddy!

  9. Are any of you currently playing any retro arcade games(any style- arcade machine, MAME, PS3, 360), and if so, what is your current high score? I won't include Atari 2600(etc.) ports here just because it's not as arcade accurate. Sorry! If playing on MAME, please only share scores which haven't been effected by Dip Switches or Cheats being enabled.
  10. Hey, have you ever seen the movie version The Girl Next Door? It's based on a story by Ketchum. I haven't checked it out yet but it's on my Netflix Instant Queue, just wondering if it's worth my time. I have the story around somewhere but I haven't had the chance to read it yet.

  11. Tried to post the video but it didn't work.. go here.

  15. I see NewsBot took the lazy route this time around.
  16. Great photos.. I bet that was an awesome ride. It's beautiful!
  17. I almost took this for an April Fools' joke. Still looking for the hidden message...
  18. Excellent. Beautiful article with depth and character. I had no clue they had done anything like this back in 1999, it's pretty amazing. Leave it to the genius D&D geeks to be ahead of their time!
  19. Man, I used to dig that Martin Page song back in the 90's. It would come on the radio and I'd make all the little noises. Gorillaz - Stylo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h9vAOzYz-Qs
  20. Here's a video of a game that employs a 3D view which people are saying might be precursor to the 3DS technology: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SWAg1s7xfz0
  21. Yeah, they attached some kind of law to it, just like everything else here. I've filled mine out for my family,it wasn't hard or intrusive. Not the same story for my friend from work though.. He was sent a 10 page packet filled with questions ranging from how many times he's been married to which areas of the state he's worked in. Still nothing very detailed but some people don't like the prying. It's all supposed to be anonymous, but they have your name and phone number and if they see you haven't filled something out, they call you. Sort of goes against the anonymity a bit..
  22. Those Subaru commercials are pretty funny, they have a few of them that really stand out.
