  1. I never knew I'd learn so much about keping in shape from a forum dedicated to video games. Love it.
  2. Please tell me you're not the one who is making that. And if you are, please tell me you didn't eat it.
  3. I wish I had time to scan some of the mags I have, it seems like most of them are here already, though. I'm thinking of selling/giving them away if anyone's interested. I could give them away free if someone just wants to pay the shipping. I think my post with what I have is on this topic somewhere. Hit me up if interested.
  4. See, I have no problem at all with that.
  5. I think everythings fine how it is. I don't download many issues at a time, though. I guess I could see free users having issues with downloading a lot. Does that happen with MU? I know Rapidshare's is hella annoying. No RS, I won't wait 15-20 minutes to d/l a 50 meg file.
  6. I hope so! I really want to see how he's going to do the Alita movie after seeing how this looks. I was skeptical but now I'm anticipating the hell out of it!
  7. In other songs he talks about 64s and Playstations, and something called a "Web Henry?" I don't know what that is..
  8. Rush - Tom Sawyer. I don't know how many people actually notice, but it references Space Invaders. "With the space he invades, he gets by on you." Then it plays some Space Invader-ish music(IMO).
  9. Gnash, I'm sorry you paid for the newer Sonic games! They almost fooled me, too. In the end I just got Sonic Chronicles, which wasn't too terribly bad! Areala, great blog. I love the weird titles you give things! "The King of Street Kombat VI: Special 'Your Mother' Hyper Edition" and "Giant Mutant Lettuce," LOL. Before they had places like Gamestop, my friends and I used to destroy all bad games. Usually we were only allowed by our parents to pick from bargain bins and, as you know, those are usually the throwback games(at least back in the mid-to-late nineties). We used to cut CDs into throwing stars and chuck them at the walls to see if they'd stick. Or burn cartridges like Jimi Hendrix burning his guitar. One time we put a double disc game into an old toaster. Anything went! Bastard games!
  10. http://www.apple.com/trailers/fox/avatar/teaserlarge.html Avatar - due out in December. Looks pretty sweet to me! After this, he's SUPPOSED to start work on the Battle Angel Alita/GUNNM movie. I've been waiting for that movie for about 10 years now. By the looks of this, he's back doing his old, good stuff!
  11. I think I tried to add Phillyman, too, a few months back. So far back that I forget if I did or not. E-Day, we need to play something! The whole RM crew should get on sometime and play some games! I have Halo 3, Ghostbusters, and SFIV so far. I also play 1 vs. 100 from time to time but I don't know if it's possible to meet up and play on that game.
  12. Yeah, it is too small. My left thumb always ends up hurting too much to play anymore. Other than that I actually like it a lot.
  13. One time I was walking with my ex g/f on Ventura Blvd, I think it was, and there were names of movies on the bricks making up the sidewalk. We were saying, man, a lot of these sound like porn movie titles(they weren't). Then she pointed out "Nutty Professor 2: The Klumps" and we busted up laughing. I'll just leave that one to your sick imaginations.
  14. Why have I never played this?! I better get on that.. I liked the arcade game!
  15. Try to find the drivers online for the scanner. It will work then unless they didn't make newer drivers. I've salvaged 3 scanners now by doing this. Two I bought for $2 and one was free. ^^
  16. I personally don't care or use the arcade and all that, though I know almost everyone else does and it's a nice addition to the forums. I'm just glad RM is back up! Thanks for going through all the trouble lately!
  17. That's a cute story, and you're right. My girlfriend has been addicted to Mario Party games ever since she played MPDS. She also loved NSMB and Brain Age.
  18. I have luck finding them from individuals around town for cheap(they don't know it's worth more online).
  19. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turtles_Forever From Wikipedia: "Turtles Forever is a direct-to-DVD animated movie that was produced by 4Kids Entertainment. A rough, nearly finished version of the film has its premiere at the San Diego Comic Con in July of 2009. The full version DVD is expected to release sometime thereafter, with the special airing on the CW4Kids station in September after the Top 10 Countdown is finished. The plot is largely unknown at this time, with details only vaguely trickling out. What has been confirmed is that the Turtles from 4kids' own series will meet up with the Murakami Wolf-Swenson Turtles, along with several secondary characters. On July 15, 2009, it was confirmed that completely newly designed versions of Tokka and Rahzar would also make an appearance. Voice actor Wayne Grayson has also hinted that the Mirage characters may appear."
  20. If I could, I'd probably be playing games with it.
  21. Thanks, I'm new to the whole forum thing, seems like they're all set up differently. Retromags is the first regular forum that I've taken part in in my 15 year internet history.
  22. If it's like the original stage show, that'd be cool. It was basically a PG PeeWee, like the movies. How do you embed YouTube videos here? Tried to search the help topics.. but not a thing came up. [Edit] Thanks, there it is!
  23. I recently beat this game and it's spectacular! A little on the short side, but not THAT short. I'd say it's worth the points. One of the more fleshed out of the WiiWare games I've played, the others haven't been so great. Decent replay value because if you miss an artifact you can go play through the level again to get it. I think you're rewarded somehow for getting them all. What's all this talk of ripoffs? I know tons of games that are based in the same time period as this one. This game is nothing like GoW or Kid Icarus. Play it and you'll see.
