  1. I remember there used to be a bunch of the NP strategy guides from the '90s on this website you could download. Now I can't find any? I see they're in the gallery, but those are just the covers. I can't find the download links for the whole guides. I'm guessing they must've been taken down. Can anyone tell me where else I can find them?
  2. Gotcha. Well, I'm glad Nintendo hasn't told you to take them down then. I suppose that raises the question, though, of where are the NP issues? I haven't been to this place in ages, so maybe I'm not looking in the right places, but I can't find them? And when I clicked download on a NP strategy guide (I think it was the Mario Mania one), I got an error message on the download page, leading me to believe it'd been removed.
  3. Nintendo had the Nintendo Power uploads removed from the Archive.org website (either today or yesterday). Presumably the same thing happened here as well.
  4. So................................... When's somebody going to give me an address to send these guides to? They're just collecting dust at my house right now.
  5. Thanks, triverse. As for me, we have no scanning capabilities at my house, so I was just going to lend my mags and let someone else do the scanning. I wouldn't even need them back if the scanner would like to consider keeping them as compensation for scanning them. (And after all, if they're on this site, what do I need them for myself anymore? Unless I decided to sell them of course...) Anyway, the sooner someone gives me an address to send them to, the better!
  6. I have the following Nintendo Power Player's Guides for donation: - Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island - The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past - The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons / Oracle of Ages The first two are of the original Super NES versions, released in 1995 and 1992 respectively. And even though the last one was released in 2001 (after this site's cutoff date), I think it should still be put on the site because it's from the Game Boy era, which is retro now, even Game Boy Color.
  7. @triverse: Wait a minute, Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island is from 1995, well before the cutoff date. That one can still be submitted, right? Anyway, I'd like to donate Super Mario World 2 (the original SNES version), A Link to the Past (also from SNES), and Oracle of Seasons/Ages (since it's for Game Boy) if anyone is interested in scanning them.
  8. I'm new here and thus am not sure if this is where I'm supposed to post this. But I have a number of NP strategy guides I'd be willing to donate if any responsible member/staff person wants to scan them for the site. I'm not sure what all you already have nor what your cutoff is as far as publication date. As such, I'll just list every one I have, and someone can tell me which ones I can donate. The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons / Oracle of Ages The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past / Four Swords The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures (Player's Choice) The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess New Super Mario Bros. Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island Yoshi's Island DS Metroid Prime Metroid Prime 2: Echoes (And yes, I'm pleased to report that the first Link to the Past guide listed above is the 1992 Super NES version guide. ) I apologize in advance that many of the covers, at least, are not in the greatest condition, being somewhat battered. (I got most of these guides online as used, so they came that way.) But if you can still use them, I'll offer them up! EDIT: Now looking back through this thread and the guidelines, it looks like the 1999 cutoff date goes for these kinds of guides too. In which case, that would make A Link to the Past and Super Mario World 2 the only guides I can offer. I actually think Oracle of Seasons/Ages should be valid as well. Technically, the games and the guide are 2001, but they're for the Game Boy Color, and I consider the GBC to be an extension of the original Game Boy and thus "retro" enough to count. What do you all think?
