  1. Hi, I think I saw the Spring 1991 issue of Super Gaming by EGM uploaded here and labeled as the first issue, but I have this fall 1990 one that would pre-date it. I actually just sold it and thought I would check if it was archived anywhere. Admittedly I only quickly googled before scanning so if I missed it I apologize. Low res cover is attached here, and link to the scanned pages is https://www.dropbox.com/sh/tbj3bc9085r4jcj/AABJCI-WgK4zRT0zPmKkUi9Za?dl=0
  2. When a title says Acquired, does this mean that somebody has the magazine and plans to upload it, they just haven't gotten to it yet?

  4. Hi. Simple question - is database only for magazines that planned to be scanned? Or may be for information for all magazines? For example - I'm Russian. I can (and want) add info about some our magazines, may be with covers: - PC Игры\PC Igry\PC Games - Страна Игр\Strana Igr\Game Country\Country Of Games - Игромания\Igromania\Game Addiction - and other... Is it interesting here, or it's just a base for magazines which planned to scan?
  5. Hi. Been lurking for a while, forgive me if I'm posting this in the wrong spot, please. The Gamepro data base shows issue #48 as 'missing', and it is not available for download. However, before the site redesign a while back, it was up and I downloaded a copy of it, which I still have. There seems to be no place in the menu bar for the site to upload files for the database. Is there an administrator I can contact and send the file to, perhaps?
  6. Hello. EGM2 Issue #21 is listed as Preserved, but the download link redirects to FilePlanet. It then says the file is missing. Just wanted to make it known. Thanks.
  7. So if you read my work in progress thread you would see that my next scan is the Top Score dated August 1989. This issue follows EGM #1 but is not a numbered EGM. There is one more Top Score! but it is officially numbered as EGM 7. So I was wondering where we would file this when I did some research. So Steve Harris, an original member of the U.S. National Video Game team started EGM. The soft launch was the 1989 buyers guide followed up with numbered issues after that. But prior to this he did Electronic Game Player. The predecessor to EGM that is more or less identical in format. It only lasted 4 issues as it didn't have good distribution. But was re launched as EGM. Also prior to that Steve Harris had a newsletter (With some of the same elements that would be incorporated into EGM) called Top Score that he started in 1986 and ran till 1987 that was published by the Amusement Players Association and written by the USNVGT. So the Top Score that was published by Sendai really is the last issue dating back to the newsletter of Top Score that he published and distributed himself. The next Top Score was fully incorporated into EGM where it ended. I found a website that has scans of theses Top Score! newsletters. http://www.videoparadise-sanjose.com/ Here is the link to the first issue. http://www.videoparadise-sanjose.com/ts-1.htm Click on Top Score newsletter on the right bar to view them. He has 4 and that may be the only 4 there are. No others are known or documented at this time that I could find. (Found evidence of at least 1 more Nov/Dec 1987) from a flikr photo. https://www.flickr.com/photos/38653499@N03/4898029067/ Could we make a new magazine database for Top Score magazine, Listing these 5 issues (Fall 96, Winter 97,July/August 1987, Sept/Oct 1987, Nov/Dec 1987) , plus the august 1989 Top Score. Then I will have a home to put the magazine when I scan it. As far as the EGM #7 Top Score, I don't know if you want to list that as belonging to both databases or just EGM database. As far as those newsletters, I emailed him and explained what we do here and asked if he could upload these here or we could mirror them for the site. That would be nice as Im pretty sure these are super obscure and you would never find these to scan on our own. I cant even find any ebay listings. If not at least we could have a database for them and some cover photos.
  8. Hello again. I checked a download link for one of the magazines, and I'm still being directed to FileFactory. I was wondering if I'm doing something wrong (I have updated the address since the move), or if the project was delayed. Thanks for any info.
  9. Hello! The two downloadable issues for Nintendo Magazine System (UK) are actually for the Australian magazine with the same name. As of now, there is no Magazines section for the Australian version. Thank you for a great site!
