    Electronic Gaming Monthly

I will like to start to collect some issues of EGM to complete my current collection, I'm trying to collect some issue that I still need (issues: 245, 263 and Special Issue PS4/XBOXONE). If anyone would like some scans of the magazines from issue 238 to 264 I could share them with you.
  2. So here is ebay user called japan-goods-hunter that has tons of japanese magazines that i figure you guys would want to scan. The price is very high but i figure i could at least posted if there is anything close to normal pricing. Or at least maybe make a lower offer for some the magazine sets. https://www.ebay.com/sch/Magazine-Back-Issues/280/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=&_ssn=japan-goods-hunter&_sac=1
  3. Hi everyone, I'm a new member and a big fan of all the hard work you guys put scanning and preserving all those magazines, thanks a lot! I'd like to show you guys a virtual magazines shelf I created so maybe you could tell me what you think. Currently it has EDGE, Retro Gamer, EGM and GamePro. This virtual shelf was created to use in Hyperspin, here you have more info about it: http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/files/file/13459-magazines-complete-media-pack/ I actually liked a lot the finished work and things like these couldn't be possible if it wasn't guys like you that preserves all those sweet memories.
  4. This is a fun question for the casual lover of retro gaming. As someone who loves retro gaming and is not a retro magazine collector, Which magazine issues do you think most people recognize right away
  5. I'm not a collector, just a newbie. However, Are there any other magazines that should be featured on this site? PC Gamer is my pick. What do you guys think?
  6. appologies if this is against the rules or anything (in which case, I expect this topic to be locked and/or deleted), but I've been trying to figure out a cheap method for actually printing out these magazines, either entire issues or individual pages. At one time, I owned virtually every issue of gamepro between 1990 and 1997 and, over time, they've either been destroyed, lost, or otherwise aren't available anymore. Currently, I browse these magazines on my tablet, but it's just not the same as having a real, physical magazine in front of me. I bought a cheap printer and ink cartridge and printed out an entire issue of gamepro, but total cost for printing just a single issue wound up coming out to just over $50 once I covered ink and paper. I know most print shops wouldn't print out something like this because of copyright issues. Anybody got a good solution to printing these out at a reasonable price? Perhaps an online printing solution? Ideally, I'm looking for a solution that runs about $10 an issue.
  7. I have some magazine/player's guide requests if anyone wants to accept them: Player's Gudies: Super Mario All-Stars Mario Mania/Super Mario World (please fix) Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island Super Mario Bros. I'll also strike out the title as well.

  9. So, thanks first of all to this awesome site. I have spent so much time going through the old Ads from Nintendo, Sega and all the other great retro systems, it brings back so many fantastic memories. My question to mods or admin is, I have a few hosts that offer unlimited upload/download and traffic and I would love to mirror some files if available. I have software in place to limit download speed so leeching isn't a problem and if needed I can password protect files so that only members of this forum can obtain the information. If any mods are looking let me know, I also have supa-fast upload so I don't mind posting my finds to newsgroups as well. Thanks again for this great site, I'll be donating soon! G-man
